Chris Smith, DNP
Christopher Smith, DNP, is an exceptional Doctor of Nursing Practice at Sage Medical Clinic in Helena, Montana. Christopher has called Montana home his entire life. Before attaining his Doctor of Nursing Practice, he spent most of his registered nursing years in the ICU and other critical care settings across Montana. In May 2022, Christopher obtained his Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Montana State University. With this degree, he plans to serve the Helena community as a primary care provider. It’s a fulfilling profession that allows him to improve his patients’ lives through collaborative management of their healthcare needs. Through his own healthcare experiences and illness as a child, Christopher met his fantastic wife at a camp they both attended as children. Their family grew after the arrival of their amazing little girl, who keeps them busy, and two dogs, Thor and Lee, who demand even more attention. Outside work, they are busy with their outdoor hobbies of hunting, fishing, biking, and skiing. They also enjoy spending time with family and friends. Christopher started at Sage shortly after graduation and continues to work collectively with the team at Sage to provide compassionate care to his patients. He currently accepts new patients of all ages and looks forward to assisting them on their healthcare journey.
Cody Rummel, DNP
Cody Rummel, DNP, is a skilled Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Sage Medical Clinic in Helena, Montana. A native Montanan raised in Billings, Cody has family roots in the small towns of Malta and Conrad. He graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman with a bachelor’s in nursing, and later, a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Following his undergraduate career, Cody worked at Benefis in Great Falls as an RN in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. At Sage Medical Clinic, Cody offers exceptional care to the community in and around Helena. He is certified to complete DOT physicals. The practice has a collaborative team that works diligently and compassionately to care for patients. Today, Cody and his wife, Kelsi, are the proud parents of two daughters, Riley Ray and Codie Jean, and a son named Larry Alan. When not in the office, Cody enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying all of the majesty of Montana’s great outdoors.
Meghan Giovenco, DNP
Meghan Giovenco, DNP, is an experienced Doctor of Nursing Practice at Sage Medical Clinic in Helena, Montana. She’s been a proud Helena resident for over two decades. Her journey in healthcare began at Carroll College, where she earned her bachelor’s in nursing in 2007. For over 16 years, she dedicated herself to being an oncology-certified registered nurse at St. Pete’s, working with patients of all ages facing hematologic and oncologic challenges. In May of 2023, Meghan achieved a significant milestone by obtaining her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Montana State University, fulfilling her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. Serving as a primary care provider, she takes great pride in contributing to the well-being of her community. It’s a fulfilling profession that allows her to support her community members in maintaining their health. During college, she met her amazing husband, a healthcare professional at the Helena Orthopedic Clinic. Their family is complete with two wonderful children, two cocker spaniels, a cat, and their cherished beta fish, “Steeve.” Outside work, one might find her exploring mountain trails, tending to her garden, baking, enjoying a glass of wine with friends, or embarking on family adventures to create lasting memories. She’s thrilled to be a part of the Sage Medical Clinic team, whose collective commitment is to provide compassionate care to their patients. Her passion lies in working with individuals of all ages, focusing on preventative screening and care. She’s currently accepting new patients and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with each one.
